Filemaker 21 Setup

Please note: To access Filemaker databases from outside OMCA's network you will first need to run Forticlient VPN.

For Windows: Please email support@museumca.org to schedule installation. If you have it installed but need to configure it please follow steps 2-7 below:

For Mac: Please follow steps 1-7 to install from Kandji Self Service and configure the app:

1. Open Kandji Self Service and Select Filemaker from the left menu, click Install.

The Filemaker 21 Folder will appear in Applications:


2. Open the Filemaker 21 Folder and double click the Filemaker icon to open the app. Check the box and accept.


3. Click the Enter License button and navigate to the Filemaker 21 Folder. Select the License Cert file, click Open.


4. Check the box when the New Version Notification comes up and click the Cancel button, the message will not pop up again.


5. Click on Favorites in the Filemaker splash page to add the Host


6. Enter the Host IP as shown and Save.


7. And voila! Select the database you wish to access and click OK.
